Out of interest, I know it’s been more than a month since you reported this: are you still using the app? If not (I understand, no worries), I’m curious to learn what about it (apart from this issue) made it a non-fit?
I am still using it daily, I've not switched to it as my only to do/task app just yet. I use TickTick as my main at present. I've not fully switched yet because of the issue above and not being able to mark complete via notification. I like the reminder about my days task that I get 3 times a day from ruff. My plan is to fully switch to ruff eventually
Okay, excellent news. To be honest, I understand switching is a big ask. That said, I think it can supplement other apps too... which you are doing. But this does bring up something: integrating with other apps — when their APIs make it possible — so that ruff reminders is used purely to remind, and less to task manage. Ah the other issue, I will fix too in this update. Two low hanging fruit that were poor oversights.
I get you, tasks for me is minimal use with reminders being more predominant. I look forward to future updates and as always will give feedback etc
