Deleted Recurring Reminder still Rings

I created a recurring reminder that rings 3 times a day. I've deleted - and it no longer shows in past events or on any list - but it still goes off. It's making my wife nuts because sometimes I leave my phone & I go out & she can't stop it. Is love to work on debugging it with you - but it's bothering her enough that I'm going to delete my data & see if that cures it. If that doesn't work, I'll remove the app & reinstall.
